Hollywood Tours from Las Vegas
This wonderful “day tour” starts with an incredibly scenic drive through the Nevada & California High Desert. And we start from Las Vegas and travel through the high desert, dry lakes and stunning mountain ranges. Experience the geographic southern tip of Death Valley. As well as Mohave Yucca and Joshua Tree forests while on our way to Los Angeles and the legendary Hollywood, California.
For the technical buff, there are fabulous views of the new Ivanpah Solar Power facility. This is the giant solar energy collector at the Nevada-California state line. So you’ll really get a sense of its size! The heat at the top of the gigantic collectors create an amazing plazma cloud.
This is the real California. Glitz, Glamour and Movie Stars. This is what California is all about. Now the fun really begins!
Hollywood Central
We stop for a picnic lunch at the beautiful Santa Monica Beach and Pier. When you hear the words “Southern California” you can’t help but think of the beaches of Santa Monica. You can walk barefoot in the sand where David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson worked, the same location where Hollywood directors filmed the most watched television series of all time, “Baywatch.” This is the real California – Sun, Sand and Movie Stars, this is what California is all about. See “Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Company” and take a romantic stroll on the beach in the warm California sun where you can put your toes in the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. We drive through the famous Rodeo Drive shopping area, Santa Monica Drive and the equally famous Sunset Strip, which has been the inspiration for many songs and movies. Our tour continues along Beverly Hills where many of our favorite stars live with a great photo op at the Beverly Hills Sign. Actors such as Tom Cruise, Madonna, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Jack Nicholson and so many others live in the fabulous neighborhoods scattered throughout Beverly Hills. Then it’s “Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame.” In short, this is the “Center of Hollywood”. So you’ll have lots of time to visit the Kodak Theater (Dolby Theater). And be sure to check out the Chinese Theater and the Roosevelt Hotel. This is the home of the Oscars with movie stars hand prints forever in concrete. Be sure to take a look in the lobby of the stunningly ornate Roosevelt Hotel where stars and famous people are often seen having lunch.
This is truly the Star Studded tour from Adventure Photo Tours.
Hollywood Boulevard
You have ample time to stroll along Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame with the stars at your feet. Find your favorite star and take a photo. Maps of Star locations are available. You will also have a wonderful view of the iconic “Hollywood Sign” from the Patio of the Kodak Theater. Don’t forget to pick up a souvenir at one of the many gift shops in this area.
